The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme in Great Britain to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty.
ECO was launched in January 2013, and has delivered over 2.2 million improvements in around 1.8m homes. The Energy Company Obligation provides energy saving measures that make homes warmer and more comfortable to live in.
The latest version is ECO3 and the policy of the scheme will run from 1st October 2018 until 31st March 2022.
Eligibility for Eco funding changed on the 1st October 2018.
